The best place to watch the sunset in Valencia is the sea
From the water, sunset in Valencia is something else: the city and the Malvarrosa beach turn orange, the wind drops and the sea goes flat. Our sunset catamaran trip leaves the Marina Real Juan Carlos I about two hours before dusk, sails along the beach and anchors for one last swim in daylight.
Unlike the shared boats in the Marina, the Sol de Mayo is yours alone: you choose the music, where to sit (the bow net is everyone's favourite) and the pace. The crew serves cava and snacks as the sun goes down, and we return to port with the city lights on.
It's our most-booked trip for couples, anniversaries, proposals and groups of friends after a relaxed plan. It also pairs well with dinner in the Marina: we confirm the exact departure time for your date, since we adjust it to each day's sunset.

Your questions, answered
What time does the sunset catamaran leave?
It depends on the date: we set sail about two hours before sunset and return shortly after. In summer that's usually around 7 pm; in spring or autumn around 5:30 pm. We confirm the exact time when you book.
Is it a private or a shared trip?
Private: the whole boat is for your group, up to 10 people. You don't share the deck with strangers and you set the music and the mood.
What does the price include?
Skipper and crew, fuel, insurance, a glass of cava, snacks, cold drinks, snorkelling gear and use of the bow net and sun deck. VAT included.
Can we do a proposal or a surprise on board?
Yes, and we do it often. Tell us on WhatsApp when you book and we'll coordinate the moment, the music and, if you like, flowers or a cake.
What if the weather is bad?
If the forecast calls for more than 20 knots of wind or rain, we move the date at no cost or refund you. Free cancellation up to 48 h before for any reason.
