If you're looking for boat rental in Valencia to spend a day at sea with your people, a skippered catamaran is the easiest option: no licence or experience needed, no deposit, and nothing to do but enjoy it. The Sol de Mayo is a 12-metre Lagoon 400, stable and spacious, with two hulls, a bow net, a sun deck and a shaded cockpit.
You can rent it by the hour (3 or 4), for a full 6-hour day or for the sunset trip. Always with a professional skipper and deckhand, fuel and insurance included, cold drinks, snacks, snorkelling gear, paddleboard and inflatables. We leave from the Marina Real Juan Carlos I, ten minutes from the centre of Valencia.

Your questions, answered
Do I need a licence to rent the boat?
No. The rental comes with a professional skipper, so no licence or experience is required. If you fancy taking the helm for a while, the skipper will show you.
Is there a deposit?
No. With a skipper on board no deposit is required. You pay the calendar price and nothing else.
How many people fit?
Up to 10 people plus crew, children included. For bigger groups we can arrange a second boat.
Can I rent the boat for just a few hours?
Yes: the minimum trip is 3 hours. There are also 4 and 6-hour trips, and the 3-hour sunset trip with cava.
Where can we go?
In 3 hours, the Malvarrosa and Patacona beaches; in 4, Port Saplaya or Pinedo; in 6, El Saler and the Albufera coast. The skipper adapts the route to the wind and to what you feel like.
